u/TheDravic says he's "almost as Geralt".īesides, one less witcher if you kill him. He's old enough to think reasonably, and he won't do the same mistakes again - both being fooled, and killing innocents because of being pissed off. And even if it did happen again somehow, I don't think he'll just go into a rage whenever he fancies. You never know if he will do it again, but seeing the cause and the reason, I think not all peasants or villagers would even try doing that to a witcher. Letting him go, however, is kinda tricky. People who stumble upon the village will probably not deduce what happened and may only assume it was the Leshen, because it's the only information they got. Killing him will not change what happened - no one will know (if you keep it to yourself), and people would not know how except for the girl who will probably remember that there are also kind and sympathetic witchers too. It is not right, but he had enough, he couldn't think reasonably after almost getting killed. Not without reason anyway.Īfter all the insults, disdain, and disgust by people who he gives his services to, what Gaetan did is understandable. I agree that killing all the villagers is outrageous, but I doubt he goes around and do that all the time. So few witchers left anyway, and their time is coming to an end.
